Duquesne 70, St. Bonaventure 69
Sophomore Melquan Bolding's three-pointer with 3.4 seconds remaining lifted Duquesne past visiting St. Bonaventure. Bolding scored 14 points on the evening, while forward Damian Saunders and sophomore Eric Evans scored 15 points apiece for the Dukes, who forced 16 turnovers in securing their first A-10 win of the season. Sophomore Andrew Nicholson scored a season-high 29 points on 11-of-19 shooting and guard Chris Matthews chipped in 14 points for the Bonnies.

Charlotte 84, La Salle 82
Junior An'Juan Wilderness hit a runner in the lane as time expired to give visiting Charlotte a win at La Salle. Forward Shamari Spears scored 22 points, freshman Chris Braswell added 21 points and a game-high 13 rebounds and guard Derrio Green scored 20 points and dished out seven assists for the 49ers, who won their third consecutive game in league play. Senior Rodney Green led La Salle with a career-best 32 points, while forward Yves Mekongo Mbala added 20 points and eight boards on the afternoon.

#16/#17 Temple 62, Fordham 45
Guard Juan Fernandez scored 13 points on 3-of-4 shooting from beyond the arc and Temple extended its winning streak to six games with a road win over Fordham. Sophomore Scottie Randall came off the bench to score 12 points and Ryan Brooks and Michael Eric added nine points apiece for the Owls, who committed just seven turnovers in the contest.  Freshman Chris Gaston scored a game-high 16 points and grabbed 10 rebounds for his 11th double-double of the season.

Xavier 72, Rhode Island 61
Sophomore Jordan Crawford registered his first career double-double with 21 points and 12 boards to lead four players in double figures as Xavier downed visiting Rhode Island for the 15th time in their last 16 meetings. Junior Jamel McLean scored 16 points and added eight rebounds off the bench anf guard Terrell Holloway chipped in 12 points and four assists for the Musketeers, who extended their home winning streak to 27 games over A-10 opponents. Seniors Lamonte Ulmer and Keith Cothran scored 12 points apiece and forward Delroy James chipped in 10 points for the Rams, who forced 17 turnovers on the evening.

 

 

Richmond 62, George Washington 57
Junior Kevin Anderson scored 21 points and visiting Richmond rallied from a seven-point deficit in the final 12:14 to edge George Washington. Forward Justin Harper scored 14 points and guard David Gonzalvez scored 11 points for the Spiders in a game that featured 12 lead changes and 10 ties. Guard Tony Taylor scored 16 points and freshman Bryan Bynes added 11 points off the bench for the Colonials, who knocked down 23-of-26 from the line in the contest.

Saint Joseph's 60, Dayton 59
Senior Garrett Williamson scored 15 points and recorded a crucial block with four seconds remaining to give Saint Joseph's a home win over Dayton. Forward Idris Hilliard scored 13 points and senior Darrin Govens added 11 points for the Hawks, who limited UD to 36.1 percent (22-of-61) shooting in the contest. Junior Chris Wright scored a career-high 28 points and senior Rob Lowery added six points, five assists and five steals for the Flyers.

#25/-- Baylor 71, Massachusetts 45
Senior Ricky Harris scored 15 points and swingman Terrell Vinson added 14 points and 12 boards as visiting Massachusetts dropped a road contest at Baylor. Sophomore Hashim Bailey pulled down 11 rebounds, including eight on the offensive glass, in the Minutemen's final non-conference tilt of the season.
