PHILADELPHIA, PA - Temple University senior guard Dustin Salisbery was named to the 2007 Portsmouth Invitational All-Tournament Team for his play at the prestigious amateur basketball tournament held in Portsmouth, VA, from Apr. 4-7.

The Lancaster, PA, native averaged a team-high 16.7 points and grabbed eight rebounds in three games, helping his Cherry, Bekaert & Holland advance to the title game. Salisbery shot a blistering 19-of-31 (61.3%) from the field, including 7-of-10 (70%) from three-point range. He also dished six assists and made three steals.

Salisbery was joined on the all-tournament team by Russell Carter (Notre Dame); Anthony Tolliver (Creighton); Ryon Covile (Detroit); Jamaal Tatum (Southern Illinois); Caleb Green (Oral Roberts); Carrtier Martin (Kansas State); Adam Haluska (Iowa); Rashad Jones-Jennings (Arkansas-Little Rock); Carl Landry (Purdue) and David Teague (Purdue). Wright State's DaShaun Wood was named Tournament MVP.

Salisbery completed a stellar career at Temple, saving his best season for his final one. The 6-4 guard placed third on the team and seventh in the Atlantic 10 Conference in scoring with a career-best 16.4 average. He also ranked third on the team in rebounding, pulling down a career-best 5.0 rebounds per game. He scored in double-figures 27 times to tie for team honors in that category while leading the team and ranking third in the A-10 with 1.60 steals per game. He also averaged 2.4 assists per game to place third on the squad.

Salisbery ended his collegiate career with 1,276 points, 27th best on the Temple all-time scoring list, and 469 rebounds. He also compiled 172 assists and 137 steals and made 177 three-pointers.
