>> Saturday will be one of the busiest days in the Atlantic 10 this year. There will be 13 games. Only Geroge Washington, La Salle and Saint Louis will be off.

>>  In the span of three days, Fordham is playing in the two oldest arenas - their home Rose Hill (1924) and Harvard’s Lavietes Pavilion (1926).

>> Massachusetts' Chaz Williams tallied his 1,000th career point in UMass’ 64-63 win over Siena. Williams’ 1,014th career point came with 3.3 seconds left and clinched the one-point win.

THURSDAY'S (11/29) RESULTS

LA SALLE 63, RIDER 52 | HIGHLIGHTS

LAWRENCEVILLE, N.J. (AP) - Tyreek Duren scored 20 points and Ramon Galloway had 17 to lead La Salle to a 63-52 victory over Rider on Thursday night.

Daniel Stewart and Anthony Myles led Rider (4-4) with 12 points each.

Rider pulled to six points back at 43-37 on Stewart's three-point play with 11:44 left and 49-43 on Zedric Sadler's free throw at 7:45, but that was as close as it would get. Galloway made a layup at 5:54 and a 3-pointer for a 54-44 advantage at the 5:10 mark for La Salle (4-1).

La Salle took a 6-0 lead on 3-pointers from Duren and Sam Mills and reached 13-2 on Galloway's jumper. Galloway made a pair of 3-pointers to go with Jerrell Wright's jumper for a 19-4 advantage with 12:37 left in the half for the Explorers.

Trailing 32-14 with 6:21 to go, Rider managed to close the gap to 34-23 at the break.


MANHATTAN 65, FORDHAM 58 | HIGHLIGHTS
NEW YORK (AP) - Michael Alvarado scored 19 points and Donovan Kates had 15 to lead Manhattan to a 65-58 victory over Fordham on Thursday.

George Beamon added 10 points for the Jaspers (2-3).

Ryan Canty led Fordham (1-5) with 18 points and Branden Frazier had 16.

Canty made a layup with 2:56 left to bring the Rams to within 55-54, but the Jaspers went on an eight-point run to make it 63-54 with 22 seconds remaining. Rhamel Brown made a layup and a free throw, and Alvarado made three free throws, Beamon two and Kates two to close out the scoring for Manhattan.

The Rams turned the ball over three times down the stretch, and their only lead was at 3-2.

Manhattan shot 45 percent from the field (18 of 40) to Fordham's 36.5 percent (20 of 55), and the Jaspers outscored the Rams 26-15 from the foul line.
