NEWPORT NEWS, Va. – Dayton’s John Muir and Richmond’s David Germann were named the Atlantic 10 Conference Golf Player and Rookie of the Week, respectively, the league office announced on Wednesday. Muir finished just one stroke back of medalist Nick Cunningham of Oakland with his 36-hole total score of 141. Germann helped Richmond to a second-place finish at the ODU/OBX Intercollegiate, Oct. 21-23, at the Kilmarlic Golf Club in Powell’s Point, N.C. with his 4 over par 220 (73-76-71). Germann finished in a tie for 23rd among the 94 golfers at the event. Richmond carded a final round 280 (-8) to finish as the runner-up with a total of 866 (+2).
