NEWPORT NEWS, Va. - Nine Atlantic 10 Conference men's soccer players made up the 11-man roster of the NSCAA Mid-Atlantic All-Region First-Team. Overall, the A-10 placed a total of 23 players on the three All-Region teams. The nine First-Team honorees are now eligible for All-America consideration.
The A-10 representatives on the Mid-Atlantic First-Team are Fordham's Ryan Meara (So., GK), Tyler Bellamy (Sr., D) from St. Bonaventure, Tim Ream (Sr., D) and Michael Roach (So., F) of Saint Louis, Ben Arikian (Jr., M) from Massachusetts, Charlotte's Adam Gross (Sr., M), Temple's J.T. Noone (Sr., M), Isaac Kissi (Sr., F) from Dayton and George Washington's Andy Stadler (Sr., F).
The Second-Team consists of six A-10 student-athletes, including Dayton's Ryan Handbury (Sr., D), Luke Exley (Sr., M) and Evan James (So., F) of Charlotte, Fordham's Tim Richardson (So., M), Andres Ruiz (Jr., M) from Rhode Island and Sam Maheu (Sr., F) from St. Bonaventure.
Finally, the A-10 also boasts eight players on the Third-Team. Dayton's Tyler Picard (So., GK), Ben Murray (Sr., M) and Alex Torda (Sr., F), Andrew Henshaw (So., D) from Massachusetts, Fordham's Mike McTigue (Sr., D), Alex Trujillo (Sr., D) of Duquesne, La Salle's Ryan Richter (Jr., M) and Alex Sweetin (Fr., F) from Saint Louis round out the Third-Team.
