The greatest female student-athlete in University of Dayton history, Ann Meyers was a two-sport All-American. She scored 2,672 points in her basketball career, one of 22 Dayton records she holds. All four of her seasons rank among the top ten single-season scoring marks at UD. The three-time basketball All-American closed out her career in storybook fashion.
She led the Flyers to the 1980 AIAW Small College National Championship by scoring a then school-record 40 points. A standout volleyball player as well, she also was awarded the Broderick Cup, which goes to the top women's volleyball player in the country. |
