Jennifer Phillips Brenning is a member of Xavier's 1,000-point club and ranks eighth all-time in program history with 1,633 career points.

A 6-3 center, she helped the Musketeers to a 98-29 record, including a school-record 31 wins and the program's first Elite Eight appearance during her senior season. The 98 wins ranks as third most by any class and she ended the season ranked fifth in NCAA Division I field goal percentage.

Phillips played in a 120 career games and averaged 13.6 points per game and 6.2 rebounds per game. for her career as a Musketeer. She was named the Atlantic 10 Player of the Year in 2001, was twice named to the A-10 All-Conference Second Team, was named to the A-10 All-Rookie Team in 1998 and was a five-time A-10 Player or Rookie of the Week.

Phillips was also named the 2001 A-10 Tournament MVP. She holds the Xavier single-season record for free throws made (147) and ranks in the top 10 of several career categories at XU as well: free throws made (3rd, 378), field goal percentage (4th, .588), blocked shots (7th, 59), rebounding (8th, 742) and free throw percentage (10th, .743).
