DAYTON, Ohio - For the eighth consecutive week the University of Dayton women’s basketball team is ranked in both the Associated Press Top 25 Poll and the USA Today Coaches Poll.

Following a bye week, the Flyers (12-1) stayed at No. 22 in the AP Top 25 with 225 votes, improving upon the 177 last week.

UD moved up one spot in the Coaches Poll to No. 17 with 241 votes.

Dayton’s Atlantic 10 opener is at Butler this Saturday, Jan. 12 at noon ET. Three busloads – approximately 150 Flyer fans – will make the trip to Hinkle Fieldhouse courtesy of Dayton women's basketball.

Dayton returns to UD Arena for its home conference opener against La Salle on Wednesday, Jan. 16 at 7 p.m.
