DAYTON, Ohio - For the ninth consecutive week the University of Dayton women's basketball team is ranked in both the Associated Press Top 25 Poll and the USA Today Coaches Poll.

Following a big 82-39 win over Butler in their Atlantic 10 opener, the Flyers (13-1, 1-0 A-10) jumped up four spots to No. 18 in the AP Top 25 with 276 votes, improving upon the 225 last week.

UD stayed at No. 17 in the Coaches Poll but had 265 votes, compared to 241 votes in last week's poll.

Dayton returns to UD Arena for its home conference opener against La Salle on Wednesday, Jan. 16 at 7 p.m.
