AP TOP 25 POLL | USA Today Coaches Poll

DAYTON, Ohio -- For the 10th consecutive week the University of Dayton women’s basketball team is ranked in both the Associated Press Top 25 Poll and the USA Today Coaches Poll.

Dayton (15-1, 3-0 A-10) started the Atlantic 10 season 3-0 for the first time in program history. Not only did the Flyers accomplish the feat for the first time, they did so in convincing fashion with a +39 scoring margin of victory in conference games.

The Flyers moved up one spot to No. 17 in the AP Top 25 with 343 points, improving upon the 276 last week.

UD is tied with North Carolina at No. 16 in the Coaches Poll with both teams accumulating 323 points. The Flyers are just nine points from Georgia and South Carolina who both have 332 and are tied at No. 14 in the poll. No. 13 Purdue received 334 points in the latest media poll.

#17/16 Dayton hosts George Washington Thursday, Jan. 24 at 11 a.m. in its annual School Day game. About 6,000 area school children will be in attendance, including grade schools Ally Malott and Andrea Hoover attended. Admission is free to all fans for this game only.
