DAYTON, Ohio - For the fourteenth consecutive week, University of Dayton women’s basketball maintained a spot in the AP Top 25 and the USA Today Coaches Polls, moving up in both.

Following a week in which they did not play a game, the Flyers (22-1, 10-0 A-10) moved up more spots than any team – three – in the AP Top 25, reaching its highest ranking in school history at No. 14.

Then, after a hard-fought 58-57 win over Duquesne Monday night on national television, UD moved up one spot today in the Coaches Poll to No. 14, tying its highest ranking.

Dayton enjoyed a home court advantage, and improved its home court winning streak to 11 straight, which is the 13th best in NCAA Division I women’s basketball.

The Flyers are one of just four teams in NCAA Division I women’s basketball with just one loss this season; the others are all in the top five of the latest polls (Baylor, Notre Dame and Duke).
