Philadelphia, Pa. - Erin Shields led four Hawks in double figures as fourth seeded Saint Joseph's earned a spot in the semifinals of the 2013 Buick Atlantic 10 Women's Basketball Championship with a 73-60 victory over fifth seeded Duquesne.

Saint Joseph's improves to 21-8 overall and will take on top-seeded Dayton at 1:30 p.m. Sunday.  The game can also been seen on CBS Sports Network.   Duquesne drops to 23-7 overall.

Shields was joined in double-digits by Ashley Prim who had 16, while Chatilla Van Grinsven and Ilze Gotfrida each had 10 points for SJU.   Van Grinsven and Natasha Cloud each grabbed a game-high 10 rebounds for the Hawks.

Saint Joseph's shot 47.8% for the game, making 22-of-46 shots from the field and were able to convert 21-of-28 shots from the free-throw line in the win.

The first-half was tight throughout with neither team able to open up more than a six lead with Saint Joseph's hold a slim 24-21 advantage.

With the Hawks lead 31-26 early in the second stanza, SJU was able to get some breathing room, stringing together a 11-2 run, capped by a three-pointer by Gotfrida to make the score 42-28 with 13:11 to play.

Duquesne was able to battle back and cut the SJU lead to seven points with four minutes to play, but that would be as close as the Dukes would get as Saint Joseph's would score nine of the next 13 points to extend its lead back to 12.

The Dukes were led by Wumi Agunbiade who had 20 points and seven rebounds, while Vanessa Abel chipped in with 13 and Orsi Szecsi had 11 off the bench.
