CINCINNATI - Xavier women's hoops standout Ta'Shia Phillips has been selected as a finalist for the NCAA Division I State Farm Coaches' All-America Team as announced by the Women's Basketball Coaches Association on Thursday, March 26. Phillips was honored as a WBCA All-District I pick last week.

Phillips, who also earned a spot on the Naismith Award Mid-Season Watch List and was placed on the final Ballot for the John R. Wooden Award, is one of 40 finalists for the 10-member State Farm Coaches' All-America Team.

The NCAA Division I State Farm Coaches' All-America Basketball Team will be announced at the State Farm Coaches' All-America Team Press Conference on April 4, at 9:45 a.m. CT in St. Louis, Mo.

Phillips, who earned Atlantic 10 Player of the Year honors this season, is one of only four sophomores to earn a spot on the list.
