CINCINNATI - Redshirt senior Amber Harris was named a Second Team All-American by the Associated Press, the highest honor any Musketeer has received from the AP, while senior Ta'Shia Phillips garnered Third Team All-American honors.

This is the second AP All-American honor for Harris who was named to the Third Team last season. Phillips becomes the third Musketeer ever to earn All-America honors along with Harris (2010 WBCA State Farm All-American) and Jo Ann Osterkamp Henderson who was named a Third Team All-American in 1983 following her junior season.

The 2011 Atlantic 10 Player of the Year, Harris led the A-10 in blocks (2.3), was second in rebounds (10.2) and third in scoring (18.7). She was only the third player in A-10 history to earn All-Conference First Team honors four times. Harris is a finalist for the WBCA State Farm All-America Team, was named to the Wooden Award Final Ballot, the Naismith Midseason Top 30 and as a finalist for the Lowe's Senior CLASS Award.

Phillips was named the A-10 Defensive Player of the Year and earned Most Outstanding Player honors at the 2011 A-10 Championship. She finished the season ranked second in the nation in rebounding (12.4) and third nationally in field goal percentage (.605) and is the A-10 and Xavier all-time leading rebounder. Phillips is a finalist for the WBCA State Farm All-America Team, was named to the Wooden Award Final Ballot and the Naismith Midseason Top 30.

Xavier recorded a 29-3 overall mark and posted its second consecutive undefeated Atlantic 10 regular season with a 14-0 mark in league play. The Musketeers claimed its third consecutive A-10 regular season title and won its fourth A-10 Championship title in five years.
