Tickets on Sale for A-10 Women's Basketball Championship

CHAMPIONSHIP INFORMATION | CHAMPIONSHIP GAME TICKETS (BROOKLYN) NEWPORT NEWS, Va. - Tickets are now available for the 2013 Atlantic 10 Conference Women's Basketball Championship, to be held March 8-10 in Philadelphia, Pa., and the Championship Game on March 16 in Brooklyn, N.Y. The first three rounds of the Championship will once again be held at Michael J. Hagan '85 Arena on the campus of Saint Joseph's University in Philadelphia, March 8-10. Fans can purchase tickets at the Saint Joseph's box office or by calling (610) 660-1712. General admission tickets are $20 for adults per session; $10 for senior citizens, youth and military per session. The A-10 and Saint Joseph's University will also offer a family four-pack for $40 and an all-session pass for $50. The all-session pass will allow fans to see all 10 games - three exciting days -- of the tournament action at Hagan Arena for one low price. Group ticket packages are also available and can be purchased by calling the Saint Joseph's ticket office at (610) 660-1712. The A-10 will play its 2013 Women's Basketball Championship game at 7:00 p.m. ET at the new state-of-the-art Barclays Center in Brooklyn. The women's championship finale will be conducted in conjunction with the men's semifinal contests on Saturday, March 16. Fans can purchase tickets to the Championship at the American Express Box Office at Barclays Center and through Ticketmaster by visiting www.barclayscenter.com or www.ticketmaster.com or by calling 800-745-3000. In September 2011, the Atlantic 10 Conference formed a five-year partnership with Barclays Center to bring the A-10 men's basketball tournament to Brooklyn and entertainment venue, which seats approximately 18,000 people. The tournament is scheduled for March 14-17, 2013. It will mark the first time the A-10 Championships, which sends its champions to the NCAA Men's and Women's Basketball Tournament, will be held in metropolitan New York City and the first time it will be played in a new NBA facility. At the conclusion of the regular season on March 3, the top 12 league teams will advance to the Atlantic 10 Championship in Philadelphia. First round action of the event begins on Friday, March 8 at 11:30 a.m. at Michael J. Hagan '85 Arena on the campus of Saint Joseph's University, with the top four teams earning a bye. Quarterfinal play continues at noon on Saturday, March 9 in Philadelphia, while the semifinals will air live on CBS Sports Network at 1:30 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 10. The championship game, which will be held on Saturday, March 16, will be played at 7:00 p.m. at Barclays Center in Brooklyn. The A-10's championship finale will mark the first women's collegiate game at the new-state-of-the art arena.
