DAYTON, Ohio - The University of Dayton women’s basketball team moved up to No. 23 in the latest AP Top 25 Poll.

Last week UD moved into the Top 25 at No. 24 for the first since Dec. 7, 2009, marking the third time in history that UD is in the Top 25.

UD is also currently ranked No. 25 in the USA Today Coaches Poll (updated poll will be released Tuesday, Nov. 27).

The Flyers, who improved to 6-0 with wins over Buffalo (68-44) and Eastern Illinois (105-42) to with the Dayton Marriott Classic this weekend, are off to their best start in school history since 1992-93.

Dayton plays at Wright State this Wednesday, Nov. 28. Tip-off is 7 p.m. at the Nutter Center.
