Massachusetts 65, Ohio 61 | HIGHLIGHTS
UMass secured its first road victory of the season with a 65-61 win at Ohio on Thursday. Freshman guard Rashida Timbilla led the Minutewomen with her second career double-double, producing 16 points and 13 rebounds, including seven on the offensive glass, while adding four of UMass’ 11 blocks on the day. UMass continues its set of four consecutive road games with a contest at Miami (Ohio) on Saturday, Dec. 1 before returning to Massachusetts to face Boston University on Wednesday, Dec. 5.
Indiana State 48, Saint Louis 46
Mallory Eggert tied her career scoring high with 16 points and collected a season-high 10 rebounds, but Indiana State rallied for a 48-46 victory over Saint Louis Thursday night at Chaifetz Arena.
Eggert registered a career-high eight field goals (8-of-10), made a career-high and team season-high six steals, and tied her career best with two blocks before fouling out with 3:15 to play. The double-double was the first of the season for the Billikens (2-4).
The Billikens are back in action Saturday, Dec. 1, at Valparaiso. Game time is 2:35 p.m. ET.
