>> SLU added to its school record for consecutive games holding an opponent to fewer than 50 points. The Bills have achieved the feat in five straight outings and are allowing an average of 46 points during that stretch.

>> Dayton moved up four spots to No. 19 in the AP Top 25 Poll. The Flyers, who received 248 votes, achieved their highest ranking in program history. The previous best was No. 20 in 2009 for one week.

Saint Louis 58, UIC 49
Lorreal Jones led a balanced scoring effort with 15 points, and Saint Louis withstood Illinois-Chicago's second-half rally to beat the Flames 58-49 Monday night at Chaifetz Arena. The Billikens, who have won two straight and four of five, evened their record at 4-4. UIC, which was held to its lowest point total of the season and 12 points under its average, slipped to 1-5.
