>> Rhode Island returns home to the Ryan Center today to square off against Delaware in a nationally-broadcast game on ESPN3.com. Rhody is 1-2 all-time versus Delaware, most recently falling to the Blue Hens, 89-53, in last year's season opener (Nov. 11, 2011). Over her 25+ years as a head coach, Cathy Inglese has turned in an 8-1 record against Delaware.

>> Saint Joseph's returns home this evening to host Lafayette at 7 p.m. at Hagan Arena. The Hawks are coming off two straight road wins, including a 61-44 victory at Saint Francis (Pa.) this past Saturday. SJU enters today's game with a 1-2 record at Hagan Arena this season. The Hawks are currently being outscored 66.0-49.3 in games at Hawk Hill.

>> Richmond hosts Virginia Tech tonight at 7 p.m. as part of Operation Homefront Toy Drive Night. Richmond meets Virginia Tech for the 10th time in series history. The Spiders trail the all-time series, 4-5, and have dropped four in a row to the Hokies. Richmond's last win against Virginia Tech at home was a 82-76 victory Dec. 19, 1996. Operation Homefront is a non-profit organization that provides emergency funds as well as morale programs to military service members and their families.


 

 

>> George Washington graduate student Brooke Wilson suffered a season-ending knee injury that will sideline her for the rest of the 2012-13 campaign, head coach Jonathan Tsipis announced. Wilson suffered an anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) tear in her right knee early in the second half at Virginia Tech on Nov. 25.

>> Another midweek road game awaits Charlotte, as it will travel UNC Wilmington for a 5 p.m. contest this evening. The outing will mark the 17th all-time meeting between the two in-state foes. Charlotte enters the contest with a 4-2 record after a 70-54 setback to Florida State Sunday afternoon at home. The 49ers extended their consecutive games streak with at least one 3-pointer to 52 in the loss.

TUESDAY'S (12/4) RESULTS
Yale 67, Fordham 53

Despite having two players tie season-high scoring efforts on Tuesday night, Fordham (5-3) dropped a decision to Yale, 67-53, in John J. Lee Amphitheater. The Rams return to the Rose Hill Gym for a long home stretch beginning Saturday, December 8th, when they host the Stony Brook Seawolves at 2 PM.
