The league is positioned just behind the Big Six Conferences. - Dayton is one of just 11 teams nationally that remains perfect on the season. The Flyers, along with SEC members South Carolina and Georgia, top the list with a 10-0 mark. The other eight undefeated teams are: Connecticut (8-0), Duke (8-0), South Florida (8-0), Stanford (8-0), Quinnipiac (7-0), Kansas State (7-0), Colorado (7-0) and Oklahoma State (7-0). - Averaging 21.5 points and 11.0 rebounds per game last week, Saint Joseph’s redshirt senior Chatilla van Grinsven was named Philadelphia Big 5 Women’s Basketball Player of the Week, organization officials announced on Monday
MONDAY’S (12/10) RECAP Fordham 56, Southern 44 Behind career performances from Erin Rooney and Samantha Clark, Fordham (6-4) defeated Southern, 56-44, in the Rose Hill Gym on Monday night. Rooney finished with a career-high 22 points, while Clark finished with 15 points and 13 rebounds. Her double-double was the first for a Fordham player this season. The Rams will take the next few days off before hosting Morgan State in the Bronx on Sunday at 2 p.m. |
