- George Washington (4-4) welcomes a familiar foe to the Charles E. Smith Center tonight to kick off a three-game homestand, as the Colonials take on SEC opponent Auburn for the eighth time in the last seven years.
- Dayton moved up two spots to No. 16 in the USA Today Coaches Poll. The Flyers are receiving 283 votes this week. UD is also ranked No. 17 in the latest AP Top 25 Poll. Both rankings are the highest in Flyer women’s basketball program history. Dayton improved to 10-0 after a 60-53 win over previously unbeaten Michigan State Saturday. The 10 consecutive victories marks the longest winning streak for the Flyers since the 2006-07 season when UD rattled off 16 consecutive wins.

The No. 20 AP ranking was GW's highest since reaching No. 18 following a 1-0 start to the 2001-02 season. The Colonials finished the 2006-07 campaign ranked 14th in the poll after advancing to the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Tournament.
