WEDNESDAY’S (12/12) RECAPS
George Washington (4-5) rallied from a 16-point second-half deficit to tie the score with 13 minutes to go, but could not get over the hump in a hard-fought 69-59 loss to Auburn on Wednesday evening at the Charles E. Smith Center. Senior Shi-Heria Shipp posted her first career double-double with 12 points and a career-high 11 rebounds, including six on the offensive glass. Four Colonials scored in double figures for the first time since the season opener against UT Arlington, led by senior Megan Nipe's 13 points.
