GW Names Eric Carcich Head Women's Rowing Coach

Eric Carcich has been named head coach for women's rowing at The George Washington University, Senior Associate Director of Athletics Mary Jo Warner has announced. Carcich replaces former head coach Rob McCracken.

Fordham's Ted Bonanno To Coach At The 2009 World Rowing Championships

Fordham University head rowing coach Ted Bonanno will lead the U.S. women's double scull in action at the 2009 FISA World Rowing Under 23 Championships scheduled for July 23-26 in Racice, Czech Republic. This is the fourth time that Bonanno has coached a crew at the World Championships, the first time for the United States.

For the second consecutive year, Debbie Bateman of Saint Joseph's has been named the Student-Athlete of the Year in women's rowing in voting conducted among the Conference's sports information directors. To be eligible, a student-athlete must have a minimum 3.0 grade point average and be an important part of the team.
