Massachusetts Rowers Picked to Repeat in 2007

Philadelphia, PA - Massachusetts has been selected to win the 2007 Atlantic 10 Rowing Championship in voting conducted by the conference's nine head coaches, it was announced on Tuesday.

The Minutewomen will look to capture their twelfth consecutive conference title this spring. The current streak of eleven championships in a row is the longest such streak of any sport in A-10 history.

Rhode Island was picked to finish second, with George Washington, Saint Joseph's and Dayton rounding out the top five.

The 2007 Atlantic 10 Rowing Championship will be held April 21 at Cooper River Park in Pennsauken, NJ.
