A-10 Announces 2012 Rowing Academic All-Conference
Ten Student-Athletes Honored with Award

NEWPORT NEWS, Va.—The Atlantic 10 announced Wednesday that it has named 10 women’s rowers golfers to the Academic All-Conference team for 2012. The team was selected by a vote of the league’s rowing media relations directors.

Six rowers that were previous selected for 2012 All-Conference honors were chosen for the award, which honors student-athlete for their combined prowess in both the classroom and in the boat.

Rhode Island, the 2012 A-10 Rowing Champions and Dayton each had three student-athletes honored. Temple had two selections and George Washington and Massachusetts each had one.
