FOX Soccer announced its broadcast schedule for the 2012 National Soccer Coaches Association of America College Game of the Week, which showcases the top matchups in men's and women's college soccer. The University of Dayton women's soccer team will be featured on the national network. The Flyers' 7 p.m. match up against Boston University on Aug. 23 is part of the FOX Soccer schedule.

Dayton will kick off the women's College Game of the Week series on FOX Soccer when they host the Terriers Thursday night at Baujan Field.

The match will feature two squads with storied NCAA Tournament histories - the Flyers claimed the 2011 Atlantic 10 title en route to their third consecutive tournament appearance, and eighth in program history, while the Terriers advanced to the NCAA Second Round, as part of their seventh straight NCAA appearance.

"We are thrilled that FOX Soccer has selected the University of Dayton to debut this year's women's college season! Having the opportunity to showcase the University of Dayton, Baujan Field and our team on a national stage is an honor," said UD Head Coach Mike Tucker. "I expect the atmosphere to be electric and the soccer to be exciting and entertaining."

Admission to the match is free and the first 1,000 fans will receive Dayton white rally towels. Flyer fans are asked to wear white to help create a great crowd atmosphere at Baujan Field.

"We are looking forward to a very exciting season showcasing college soccer through the performances of your teams on the soccer destination channel," said Rob Kehoe, NSCAA Director of College Programs.
