Freshman defender Danielle Mayeaux (Collierville, Tenn.) scored her fourth goal of the season in Charlotte's 3-1 win at Xavier on Oct. 19. The 49ers then extended their unbeaten streak to 11 matches after edging Dayton on Oct. 21, 2-1.

Dayton sophomoreMandi Bäck (North Olmsted, Ohio) scored her league-leading 12th goal of the season on Oct. 21 versus Charlotte. The Flyers visit La Salle on Oct. 26.

Freshman forward Samantha Kaiser (Erie, Pa.) came off the bench to tally a pair of goals on just two shots as Duquesne turned aside Temple on Oct. 19, 4-0. Kaiser has scored a team-high six goals for the Dukes, who have won six of their last seven contests.

Fordham earned a 4-0 win at Rhode Island on Oct. 21, the Rams' sixth shutout victory of the season. Fordham hosts Xavier (Oct. 26) and Dayton (Oct. 28) in its final home matches of the year.

George Washington suffered a 3-2 loss to Richmond on Oct. 20 despite goals from freshman midfielder Cynthia Gamboa (Reisterstown, Md.) and sophomore defender Emily Gower (Amherst, N.Y.). The Colonials host Temple on Oct. 26.

La Salle recorded its first Conference road win of the season after edging Massachusetts on Oct. 21, 1-0. The Explorers return home to face Dayton (Oct. 26) and Xavier (Oct. 28).

Sophomore forward Cristina Adams (Braintree, Mass.) scored her second career game-winning goal on Oct. 19 as Massachusetts earned a 1-0 win over Fordham. Senior forward Britt Canfield (Granville, Mass.) recorded the assist on the game-winning tally, her ninth of the season and 16th of her career.

Rhode Island sophomore defender Colleen Dowd (Landenberg, Pa.) scored her first career goal on Oct. 19 in the Rams' 2-0 defeat of La Salle. URI dropped a 4-0 decision to Fordham on Oct. 21, its first home loss of the year.

Junior Melanie Varga (East Meadow, N.Y.) tallied her first three points of the season on Oct. 20 as Richmond edged George Washington, 3-2. After four consecutive road contests, the Spiders return home to face Saint Joseph's on Oct. 26.
 

 

St. Bonaventure freshman forward Anna Cunningham (Grosse Point Farms, Mich.) notched her first multi-goal performance of the season on Oct. 21 with a pair of goals in the Bonnies' 3-0 win at Temple. The victory marked St. Bonaventure's first road win since the 2004 season...

Freshman forward Lauren Sawyer (Saint James, N.Y.) scored her second game-winning goal on Oct. 19 as Saint Joseph's snapped its 11-match losing streak with a 2-0 win over St. Bonaventure. With the victory, SJU sophomore goalie Megan Bastianelli (Bear, Del.) registered her third shutout of the season, while her 120 saves are the third-highest single-season total in program annals.

Saint Louis hosts Rhode Island on Oct. 26, the first of three straight home matches for the Billikens to close out the regular season. SLU dropped a 2-0 decision at Xavier on Oct. 21.

In its final home contest of the year, Temple suffered a 3-0 loss to St. Bonaventure. The Owls visit George Washington on Oct. 26.

Junior forward Melissa Zimmerman (Fort Wayne, Ind.) scored her team-leading seventh goal of the season as Xavier downed Saint Louis on Oct. 21, 2-0. Zimmerman has scored 13 of her team-high 15 points in A-10 play.
