A-10 Announces 2007 Women's Soccer Academic All-Conference Team




Lindsey Ozimek Charlotte senior midfielder Lindsey Ozimek was named Atlantic 10 women's soccer Student-Athlete of the Year in a vote of the Conference's sports information directors.

Ozimek earns Student-Athlete of the Year laurels for maintaining a 4.0 grade point average as a special education major. A three-time Academic All-Conference selection, the Charlotte, N.C., resident is a two-time ESPN the Magazine Academic All-America honoree. A three-time first-team All-Atlantic 10 honoree, the senior midfielder looks to lead the top-seeded 49ers to their first-ever A-10 Championship.

Ozimek is joined on the Academic All-Conference team by Saint Louis teammates Mary Green and Lauren Olson; Kaelyn Caldwell of Massachusetts; Dayton's Amanda Gallow; Kate Hudson of Richmond; Fordham's Catherine Huvane; Kristin Sotak of St. Bonaventure; George Washington's Nicole Trickett; Michelle Verzi of La Salle; and Xavier's Melissa Zimmerman.
