NEWPORT NEWS, Va. - One of two remaining unbeaten teams in the nation, A-10 champion Dayton will host Marquette on Friday, Nov. 13, in the opening round of the 28th NCAA Division I Women's Soccer Championship. The field of 64 was announced on Monday evening by the NCAA Division I Women's Soccer Committee on ESPNews.

The Flyers (16-0-5) boast the nation's longest unbeaten streak after seizing their first A-10 regular season and Championship crowns since 2004. UD is led by senior Mandi Bäck, a four-time first-team All-Conference selection, and freshman goalkeeper Katherine Boone (13-0-5, 12 shutouts), the 2009 A-10 Defensive Player of the Year.

UD has outscored its opponents by a 48-7 margin, which includes a 25-3 advantage in the second half.

Dayton will square off against Marquette (15-5-2) on Nov. 13, with the winner to face the winner of the Virginia Tech (14-7-0)-Murray State (11-8-2) match on Sunday, Nov. 15.
