Alaina Loguidice raised the Saint Joseph's lead to five, 5-0, with an RBI double to left-center that drove in Maria Ficca. Rochelle Christman also added her fourth home run of the season in the seventh inning to increase the lead to six, 6-0.
Leading the way for the Hawks on the mound was starter Erin Gallagher. Gallagher (11-14) threw a complete game shutout in which she allowed only three base hits while striking out two. Temple's Brooklin White (14-11) picked up the loss after allowing six runs, three of them earned, on eight base hits while walking six.
