LEXINGTON, Ky. – The Dayton Flyers moved up to No. 10 in the latest AVCA Coaches Poll, the highest ranking in the program’s history.

The Flyers are 6-0 on the season and coming off their second tournament championship after winning the University Plaza Invitational. UD moved up one spot after defeating host Missouri State, Austin Peay and Oral Roberts, each in a 3-0 sweep.

Dayton began the season winning the Flyer Classic after defeating then No. 7 Illinois, No. 11 Pepperdine and Ohio in three consecutive days. This is the 49th consecutive week the Flyers have either been ranked or receiving votes in the AVCA poll. UD’s streak of receiving votes dates back to Nov. 23, 2009.
