ST. LOUIS - After winning its 14th straight match, Saint Louis volleyball earned its highest ranking in program history when it moved up to No. 20 in the Bison/American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Top 25 Poll. Saint Louis (20-4, 9-0 Atlantic 10) earned a program-high 297 votes and is ranked 10th in the latest NCAA RPI.
The Billikens achieved 20 wins for the third straight season and head coach Anne Kordes needs just four more victories to earn her 100th career win. Kordes, who is in her fifth season as a head coach, owns a career record of 96-53.
Saint Louis is 11-0 in league play for the first time since joining the Atlantic 10 and the 14-match win streak is the second-longest winning streak in program history. Only the 1998 squad won more consecutive matches (15).
The Billikens put their unblemished Conference record on the line again this weekend when they play at Dayton on Nov. 15 and at Xavier on Nov. 16.
