For the second consecutive year, Xavier senior outside hitter Danielle Skrajewski was named Atlantic 10 women's volleyball Student-Athlete of the Year in voting by the Conference's sports information directors.

Skrajewski is a three-time member of the A-10 All-Conference team. She ended the regular season leading Xavier in kills (396), kills per game (3.96), digs (250) and points (393). At the time she ranked fourth in the league in kills per game. The outside hitter from Downingtown, PA, was a two-time A-10 Player of the Week and earned 2006 CoSIDA Academic All-District first-team as a biology major.

Along with Skrajewski, the Academic All-Conference volleyball team consists of Jenni Gross and Amanda Haeg of Duquesne; Charlotte's Eden Ramos; Maggie Wright from George Washington; and Ivy Zuidhof of Rhode Island.
